I find what is slowing a business down, decide what to fix first, and build the system that fixes it. Six years doing that across fintech, e-commerce, energy and automotive.

Strategy: one goal, broken down until every piece has an owner

Whatever you are hiring for, I have probably already done a version of it.

Pick the closest match to the role you have open.

You need someone who can take a loose mandate from leadership and come back with a plan, owners and a way to tell if it worked.

  • Turned the country head's raw quarterly direction into a structured objective set, with baselines, owners and measures for each.
  • Run projects that cut across compliance, finance, marketing, product and engineering, most of them without formal authority over the people involved.
  • Work directly with the country head, and have delivered projects requested by the global chief executive.

The industry changes. The method does not.

Every project above ran the same four steps. That is the part that transfers.

  1. 1

    Find it

Pull the data, sit with the people doing the work, and find where the hours actually go.

  2. 2

    Decide

Pick the fix worth doing first, and agree up front how we will know it worked.

  3. 3

    Build

Ship the system myself, whether that is a workflow, a tool, a dashboard or a process.

  4. 4

    Prove

Measure it, hand it over cleanly, and move on to the next bottleneck.

Problems I have solved, and where else they show up

Open any one to see what I did, and which teams have the same problem.

A month of manual review, turned into an overnight batch AutomationAICompliance

The compliance team reviewed flagged transactions by hand, most of the month, every month. I built a pipeline that pulls each transaction's detail, assesses it against the monitoring rules with a language model, and hands back a reviewed report by morning. The reading is automated. The decision stays with a person.

Same problem elsewhere: KYC checks, insurance claims, invoice matching, content moderation, QA sampling.

A blog nobody found, rebuilt as a hub built for search GrowthDataStrategy

Our content was invisible to search engines. I led the rebuild on a modern no-code stack that several people had judged unable to handle SEO, taught myself technical SEO, and made it work. The same approach is now being considered for the group's whole website.

Same problem elsewhere: any company with content nobody finds, website rebuilds, moving off legacy CMS platforms.

Entity setup, from one person's memory to a process anyone can run OperationsStrategy

Each property in our fractional real estate product sits in its own legal entity, and each one needs incorporation, banking, audit and legal before it can raise money. I ran that end to end, then documented it, automated the paperwork, and built a tracker with owners and deadlines so someone else runs it now.

Same problem elsewhere: vendor onboarding, market entry, fund setup, any process that runs through banks, lawyers and auditors.

Ten tools shipped, and a way to tell which ones work ProductData

I built a suite of financial calculators and planners for customers, covering zakat, retirement and long-term goals. Then I instrumented every step so the conversation moved from how many we shipped to which ones people use.

Same problem elsewhere: lead magnets, product experiments, internal tools, any team shipping features without knowing which ones land.

Lapsed customers, won back with their own numbers DataGrowthStrategy

I traced a year of failed recurring payments, built a calculator showing each customer what those missed months had cost their own portfolio, and turned that into a campaign. Analysis first, then a tool, then the message. It converted several times better than anything generic.

Same problem elsewhere: churn, subscription renewals, reactivation, any retention problem where generic reminders stopped working.

Small tools for executives, built on request AutomationData

An expense tagger for finance, a daily pricing feed pulled from a source with no export, a regulatory change monitor for compliance. Several were requested by our global chief executive. Each replaced something a person was doing by hand.

Same problem elsewhere: chief of staff work, finance operations, reporting that someone rebuilds every Monday.

The toolkit

Hover or tap a tool to see what I use it for. Filter by the kind of work.

Four industries, the same job

Different products every time. Underneath, the same work: find the bottleneck, fix it, prove it.
